No joy on the first one, but it might have been too long gone. It's been sitting around being abused for months and months. It comes up, but gives occasional bizarre keyboard errors and then finally locks up, and the reset key doesn't work. Unfortunately, I don't have another backup, so I can't test the technique on the newly coffee-ized keyboard. I'll see about getting a backup and trying again.
