I wish .... the magazine web site is so hosed right now .... I could give
you the 120 character URL, but it would get so fragmented in the message
that nobody would ever get there.  Best suggestion is that since it was in
the current (May 2005) edition - the easy way to get to the article is to go
to www.eservercomputing.com/iseries - the article is currently featured on
that page and you can link to it from there.

For those who haven't read it, the article discusses encryption using the MI
API CIPHER. It also references the new V5R3 (PTFd into V5R2) APIs that are
reputed to be even better.

Certainly there is no good reason to use Java for encryption on the
iSeries - there are many far more efficient ways of doing it.
