What are you trying to accomplish? Why would you want to remove 'iter'? In a 'DOU' loop, 'iter' will skip past the remaining calculations in the loop and start over at the beginning of the 'DOU' loop. The only other alternative that I can think of is 'goto', but I don't think it's a better choice over 'iter'.
