RE: V5R3 Performance Issue

Rick,

Just for something different to check, try a WRKDSKSTS and hit F11 and see if 
anything says "degraded". Several of us have been bitten recently by bad cache 
batteries which were first noticed after an upgrade. Generally it causes 
slowdown of whole system though, not just a couple of jobs.
