It's fun to bash iSeries Navigator, but it has gotten really better over
the years.

It's slow to start, but I don't shut down my 5250 sessions between each
command so why should I shutdown my iSeries Navigator between each
request? I start it on Monday and shut it down on Friday. Unless it gets
weird during the week - which, granted, still happens a bit too often.

It has some function in it that they laid out real nice and isn't
currently available via a 5250 command. Like the mythical 5250 command
WRKIFSLCK.

RE: Green-screen versus browser

Yea, I like old "Click and Wait". Now let's see how do I vary off my
external DVD (OPT01) before I move it to another partition? Sorry, trick
question.

P.S.
Don't call Support Line and say you need help with iSeries Navigator. The
boys in the Bangladesh office that answer the phone only know it as Ops
Nav.

Does Ops Nav count?
