To reiterate..

iSeries Access cost _NOTHING_ to install in order to use the OBDC, OLEDB or 
.NET drivers.

In addition, you can you use iSeries Navigator for free also.

The only portion of iSeries Access you need to pay for a license to use is 5250 
emulation and data transfer.  Everything else is included as part of OS/400.
