Hi Jay

Just a couple of questions off the top of my head...

Is there a difference in the library lists between the job being
submitted and being called interactively? Could it be picking up
different files to process?

Is there a joblog for the submitted job? If not can you create one and
see if it has any clues.

Are the parameters on the SBMJOB command correct? Have you checked the
USER parameter to make sure it's authorised to the file, program, etc?

Does it actually run on the job queue?

Does the submitted job go to a different output queue and the report
print automatically?

All the best

Jonathan

Subject: Strange job problem

This one is driving me up a wall. I run a CL that then submits a job,
calls an RPG program, except that it created no output. But if I change
the CL to call that same program, there is output.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
