Hi David, The following information is listed on page 92 of the iSeries Printer Device Programming Version 5 Manual SC41-5713-06 and is copyright IBM. "Limitations of AFP-to-ASCII transform function Currently, the AFP to ASCII transform has the following limitations: * It does not support graphics (GOCA) commands * It does not support multi-up printing * It does not provide support for computer output reduction (COR) printing * It ignores the fidelity attribute of the spooled file and always performs content printing * It can only produce 240 dpi images and 300 dpi images * It does not support color images (IOCA or IM). * It does not support two-dimensional bar codes. MaxiCode, Data Matrix, and PDF-417 are examples of 2D bar codes." The Multi-Up parameter is supported when the data stream device type is *AFPDS or *IPDS and the target printer is an IPDS capable printer.
