Pick SoftLanding over Aldon. Setup is not too bad especially if you remember the KISS principle and try out Vanilla variety before doing anything more complicated. Jack Derham Direct Systems, Inc. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Fisher, Don Sent: Wednesday, March 23, 2005 3:17 PM To: 'midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: Aldon and SoftLanding We have nearly concluded our evaluation of change management software and will probably purchase either Aldon's Lifecycle Manager for iSeries or SoftLanding's Turnover. Would any of you be kind enough to relate your experiences with these products, especially regarding initial setup? Both vendors would like to make at least a couple days' consulting fees by performing the setup for us, but we would prefer the opposite. Replies off-list are welcome if you prefer. Thank you.
