>From a colleague of mine:

Hi Bruce,

In my Premenos days, when it was all green-screen apps from within the
iSeries, we built our own QA tool programs to specifically service our
EDI software.

When the iSeries application has a Windows/Browser front-end (C++, VB,
Java), then WinRunner can be a tool that you can use...although
expensive. Other QA tools like Silk may have the same capability when
you have a Windows/ Browser front-end....

Hope this helps.

Stevel

Subject: Testing tools and opinions

I have been 'volunteered' to sit on a committee that will be looking for
and evaluating testing packages for our iSeries shop. Currently, our QA
department uses a product called QA Run from Compuware. I would like to
get opinions from anyone that has used this or any other testing tool
for iSeries software.

Rick
