<vendor response> Heh! I keep typing "verndor"

We at RJS Software www.rjssoftware.com have a product called POP/400. This will take messages from any POP3 mailbox and put them into PF members on the iSeries. Your RPG can then do with them what it will. There is no need to specifically use the iSeries POP3 server. This has been useful for customers who want to use email from a web form entry page and have it processed automatically.

</vendor response> Heh! I did it again!

I read today on one of the trade sites about using the Iseries mail capability. Where I work, of course there is a major spam problem. As well, they are targeting all mail that an employee gets or sends. They wish to restrict personal usage. So what they have in place, is cumbersome. Using Exchange and a spam product everything that comes in is held if it is new. So the employee has to send an emaiil to spam-approval to accept this email. From then on, it is supposed to let them in again, altho this doesn't always work.
1. Is there a way for a Iseries program to get to this data and to perform the necessary file maintenance tasks to assure there is a correct application process going on?
Thank you for any input,
Jay
