Try manually doing an ENDSBS *ALL *IMMED
If you do not get a 
CPF0968-System ended to restricted condition.
in QSYSOPR after a certain amount of time, then do a WRKACTJOB.
You may have a really nasty hung job.  Often that kind of job can only be 
killed with ENDJOBABN.
Ideally, you should open a pmr on this job before you do the ENDJOBABN.
Doing an ENDJOBABN will affect your ptf application upon your next IPL. 
All MF ptf's will still get applied, but SI* type ptf's will not.  (See 
also the help text on WRKSYSVAL QABNORMSW.)
Trust me.  I have several machines in which the QABNORMSW is set to 1 
because the last IPL was when the power in the machine room dropped 
unexpectedly.  All the MF ptf's are applied, but not the SI's.

CPA3712 when trying to perform GO SAVE #21






Has anyone experienced this message regarding subsystems not ending within
30 minutes
when running the GO SAVE #21 option on a V5R3 server?

I have a client that is receiving this error message during their complete
system save
and the system automatically responds with a "C" to cancel.
