Just to add to what Vern said. With you LPAR system I would guess that you are using the internal LAN for all your telnet and FTP traffic. Since the internal LAN does not support SNA you would not be able to use the IBM doc to setup the remote printing. You will need to use the TCP/IP outq like he outlined. ---------------------------- Bryan Dietz Aktion Associates midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote on 03/02/2005 08:29:09 PM: > Charles > > I suggest the following - the key thing is not to turn on host printtransform. > > CRTOUTQ OUTQ(QUSRSYS/DEVOUTQ) > RMTSYS(*INTNETADR) > RMTPRTQ('QUSRSYS/PRODOUTQ') > CNNTYPE(*IP) > TRANSFORM(*NO) > INTNETADR('xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx') > > DEVOUTQ is the new outq on the development partition. > PRODOUTQ is the outq on the production partition for the IPDA printer. > 'xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' is the IP address of the production partition.
