1) Take away *ALLOBJ from the profile that the job runs underneath.
Either use adopting authority or some other scheme.
2) Grant *ALLOBJ to this user profile. (Yuck)
3) Create a command that adopts authority that will do a DSPJOBLOG
OUTPUT(*PRINT) of any job.
4) Fix the problem so that it no longer occurs.
5) Buy some whizbang monitoring software that will answer all of your
issues (psst buddy, pass it over here.)

Subject
Read only access to job logs

Hi All,

I have a job (system administrator security level) that runs overnight and
a
programmer who would like to have read only access so that in case it
bombs
off hours she can go in and see what the cause of the problem is.
Currently
she is unable to view this but she states that she had this access before.
Any ideas on how to set this back up?

Thanks

Scott
