Standard Input: Inserting QP2TERM commands into a program

Now, I copied this over to my production machine.  I used the browser 
interface to shut TSM down.  Then I tried to start it up using 
call qp2shell ('/QOpenSys/bin/sh' '/Operations/StartTSM.sh')

It didn't work, so I tried it again, manually, using 
CALL QP2TERM
cd /usr/tivoli/tsm/server/bin
dsmserv >/Operations/TSMStart.txt

The difference noticable in the two output files is the StartTSMOutput.txt 
has these extra lines:
...
ANR7821E Error reading from standard input.
...
ANR2017I Administrator SERVER_CONSOLE issued command: HALT
...
ANR7835I The server thread 5 terminated in response to server shutdown.
... lots of the ANR7835I's.
ANR0991I Server shutdown complete.

I suspect that doing the 
call qp2shell ('/QOpenSys/bin/sh' '/Operations/StartTSM.sh')
is causing grief with standard input.  Eh?
