We were doing the rental issue until there was a major outage and no rentals to be found. Sat there and watched the UPS's die one at a time. Just as the last one gave up the ghost, power was restored. 24 hrs it lasted with the big expansion of batteries and all non-essential services turned off. We purchased a used generator 2 weeks later from the company we were renting from. CB -----Original Message----- It's examples like this that took us years to justify a power generator. The UPS wasn't nearly so hard.
