My V5R1 system has just a single QSIxxxxxJ2 savf and my V5R3 box doesn't have any. If you do delete them, back 'em up first just in case. If doing so to tape would be tedious, do a savf for the lib and specify DTCPR(*YES) (or *HIGH if on V5R3). John A. Jones, CISSP Americas Information Security Officer Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. These files are mostly named QSIxxxxxJ1where xxxxx appears to be a PTF #. When I do a DSPSAVF on them they appear to be java runtime objects. The objects in the save file also appear to exist in the IFS under /QIBM/ProdData/OS400/Java400/ ... I called SupportLine, and was first told that these save files could be deleted, then was told not to delete them, then they said that they would open up a discussion group on this. Does anyone know if these save files can be safely deleted?
