A couple of years ago when I was working at a different company our supplier of wireless barcode scanners let us test a Windows CE wireless scanner. We tried a couple of 5250 clients. They worked but were missing a couple of idiot-proof features that our Symbol scanners had. The supplier is a company called Data Limited (http://www.dataltd.com). They should be controlled by "normal" RPG programs (5250 datastream). As pocket PCs do not run full Windows we wonder if there is a software available which converts the 5250 stream to a GUI. Are there any other suggestions (hardware or software) to fulfill a GUI on WLAN terminals with iSeries? Many thanks in advance for any hints on this subject.
