We use DataMIrror tool for replicating the data to Oracle database.
The Data warehouse picks the data and stores in Teradata database for further
reporting/trend analysis, etc.
Standard purge routines/programs on AS400 are scheduled to purge data
weekly/monthly.

ASP question

Display ASP Information using BRM , ,AS400

, ,

,Number of ASPs . . . . . :,, 4, ,Current unprotected used . . :, 11677,M,

,Allocated ASUs . . . . . :,, 73, ,Maximum unprotected used . . :,
45200,M,

,Unallocated ASUs . . . . :,, 0, ,Mirroring main storage . . . :, 4,M,

,Pairs of mirrored units . :, 73,

We have our ASP reached 94%, we just run to everytime to cear files
whenever it reaches high..

What are the best practises others follow to avoid problems with ASP full
rather than just deleting or clearing history and big files.

Thanks in adv,

wish you happy new year2005.
