Is this local on the iSeries? If from a Windows client, say, have you installed a product that provides security for FTP connections? Has someone put in a program on the FTP exit point? Has anyone set up Application Administration in iSeries Navigator to block some FTP functions?

What is the message ID for the 2 " not allowed" messages? CPD0175? That would be unusual in an FTP session, unless an exit point program is testing LMTCPB in the user profile sending this message.
