We have 6 or 7 ixs cards.  (Hard to tell exactly during the IPL).  Just 
added a hosted linux partition this week.  I don't think it's the i5's 
anymore than the rest of the hardware.  My beefs with the AC3 affected 
iSeries also.

I second that question.

We're doing a processor swap from an 810 to a 520.

We're not doing very much that is extraordinary, no LPARs - but we
will have 8 IXA servers using i5 disk.

We're upgrading the 810 to V5R3 next month, with the processor swap in
January.

We're a nearly 24x7 shop (especially the IXA servers), so wanting this
to go smoothly would be an understatement.
