Yesterday, with the latest set of PTFs and possibly a Full Power Off (read unplug the box) I would have said it's working correctly. However I received the follow from IBM today. 2) i5/OS V5R3 : Urgent support notification (2004.11.20) All users with an i5 system with a UPS attached On i5 systems, models 520, 550 or 570 with an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) attached, error message CPI0961 may be displayed in the QSYSOPR message queue approximately 6 hours after the system has been IPL'd. Error message CPI0961 states the UPS is no longer attached. This is an erroneous message, the UPS is still functional and protecting the systems power supply. The fix is currently scheduled to be available in the GA3 Service Pack #1, which will be available by year end 2004.
