Mike,

What changed to cause the rewrite of the backup program? New tape drive?  

What type of tape drive is being used? 

This message sounds as thought you provided a list of tape volumes to be
used. Is that the case? Is it possible that one of the volume names had a
space in it?

  been processed.  Last identifier from VOL list specified at file open time

  has been used.  Another volume is required to continue processing.

Recovery  . . . :   Load the continuation volume on the tape drive, and do
one 
  of the following:

    -- Use C to cancel processing.

    -- Use I to ignore the volume identifiers.
