RE: Field Type 'P' in a query

Have you tried running a query over the file you wish to add records to,
select all of the fields and output to a file. Don't actually run the query
but print a copy of the query definition and it'll contain the correct field
descriptions you need.

I'm trying to use query to add records to a file.  I keep getting a 
mismatched field type.

The file I want the records loaded into has a field type 'P'.  This is a 
COMP field.  How can I define a field in a query as a type 'P'?
