Technical interpretation please: >From the special instructions as part of the cover letter for SI09498 I get that, when applying SI09498, if SI09377 has not been applied/removed previously then you DO need to do the special instructions noted in "SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPERSEDED PTF SI09377". Other intrepretation is that if SI09377 was never applied/removed then ignore "SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPERSEDED PTF SI09377". IE: In "SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPERSEDED PTF SI09377" does "THIS PTF" mean SI09498 or SI09377? Jerry PTF/FIX #: SI09498 - Operating System/400 LICENSED PROGRAM: 5722SS1 SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS : ---------------------- ******************************************************************** THE FOLLOWING ARE SUPERSEDED SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS. If this PTF is applied or removed "Immediate", this should be done in restricted mode (apply the PTF from the system console after ending all of the subsystems).
