Don't worry TOO much about foreign exchange.....when I travel, I don't.
Also, most of the taxis and limousines will accept credit & debit cards .

currencies or just hit a bank once you hit Toronto...problem is, most of

Actually you don't have to convert your cash.  Most Canadians are happy
to accept US dollars on a one for one exchange for Canadian dollars.
