You're right!  Believe it or not, I just found the following document in the

To remove or delete the INFOCENTER directory from the iSeries using
Operations Navigator, do the following: 1 Launch Operations Navigator. 
2 Click on File Systems 
3 Double-click on Integrated File Systems in the right pane. 
4 Double-click on Root . 
5 Double-click on QIBM. 
6 Double-click on ProdData. 
7 Right-click on INFOCENTER, and select delete from the pop-up menu.
