I got smart.  I don't remember the OCL statements involved, but my compile
decks were:

1) OCL statements to copy the source into a library; followed by
2) The actual source statements; followed by
3) OCL to perform the compile from the library, _not_ the deck.

If I ever dropped the deck, or after the cards got ratty, I just punched out
a new deck from the library.
