We have CSV files downloaded form the AS/400 to Excel with dates. Excel will
convert an ISO date on import/download. When saving the Excel back to CSV,
all dates are converted to MM/DD/YYYY format. If you use CPYFRMIMPF, don't
assume dates are in ISO format, also try with DATFMT(*USA) also.

Download as .xls, modify, then upload. I trust that you'll be uploading
into a work file that can be edited before being pushed into the live data
file?

Remember that when you create your file transfer, click file, properties,
and check the 65535 box. That will avoid any potential CCSID problems.

Hi

What is the best method of doing this (download/upload via client access)
csv, text or .xls file ?
