HTH Vern
Can anyone explain to me the advantage of configuring a printer with the SNMP driver CRTDEVPRT...SYSDRVPGM(*IBMSNMPDRV).
The reason I ask is a customer is looking into purchasing a Xerox Docuprint 75. According to the IBM documentation http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.NSF/0/cc6ee2005999a36d862569c100796 da4?OpenDocument&ExpandSection=6#_Section6 this printer does not support SNMP when attached to the iSeries. What capabilities are they losing not having a printer that can be configured with SNMP from the iSeries side of things?
