The DB2 <--> XML tools you are looking for are optional license programs called DB2 Extenders (5722DEx). There is one name DB2 XML Extender and one named DB2 Text Extender. I usually see them mentioned together. I think the come as one maybe or perhaps both are usually needed. Additionally, there is a XML Toolkit (5733-XT1) you can use to read/write XML from ILE RPG.
