In this case, it seems this PC is a specialized print server.  You're
probably better off with REXEC for this.  In the past, we've had trouble
from REXEC for various reasons.  Usually there's a firewall involved, but
many times it's simply the security options that were selected...  Have you
looked in Client Access Properties (Control panel) on the Incoming Remote
Command tab?

What I am attempting to do is have an RPG program issue commands to a PC 
to print PDF documents (product information sheets) from that PC.  There 
is a standalone program called Batch & Print Pro which will do this for us.

The idea is that a user from a green screen will bring up an order which 
will show which items are to be packed and how many of those items. 
They can then just request that the appropriate product sheets print out.
