Ah, thats the nub of the problem. Is %eof on when the 12th record is read? Don't we have to attempt to read the 13th record in order to set on %eof? --------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.martinvt.com --------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Date: 09/08/04 11:00:01 To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Re: Subfile size equals page size. SFLEND(*MORE) and eof idrange.com 09/08/2004 11:32 AM Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subfile size equals page size. SFLEND(*MORE) and eof: Lets say the SFLSIZ & SLFPAG are both 12, and there are exactly 12 records to be read from a file and displayed in this subfile. That means the screen should display "BOTTOM" instead of "MORE..." I've made it work correctly but its a real shameful looking piece of code. Does anyone have a suggestion on a simple algorithm to make it neat and accurate? --------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.martinvt.com ---------------------------------
