I'd like to know what it was about V2R2 and objects. We used to always do a CRTDUPOBJ of the QBATCH subsystem to another library, put on a new release and then copy the QBATCH back. At some release they fixed it so that QBATCH would be updated and not clobbered when you put on a new release. However it doesn't work if that subsystem was created prior to V2R2. Thus on our system we had to recreate QBATCH from scratch. I wrote a program to do it since it has a few hundred job queue's associated with it.
