problem using Dave McKenzie's UNDELete utility

Does anyone have instructions for using/creating Dave McKenzie's UNDELete
utility that I just downloaded from iSeriesNetwork shareware page?

No readme.txt or nothing.  Got stuck with a *dtaara UNDELA not found.  Found
the RPG spec for it, created it, it has a 3-byte packed field at position 1
that feeds another field that is in the MPARMS DS that is a parameter for
the MI program.  The field comment in the MI program is: "# recs 2 srch b4
surfacing".  I've tried 1, I've tried 99999.  Keep getting TOL0011 "Invalid
relative record # 1688 in file DBALE/COMAST mbr COMAST." 2nd Level: "RRN
1688 is not in mbr COMAST in file DBALE/COMAST."  Well, 1688 *is* a deleted
record.  The highest RRN in this file is 1750.

Any help on this would be *greatly* appreciated!
