I see your point,  And why doesn't the latest version of MS Word run on a 
8088 running Dos 1.0?  Might it be because people with that version of PC 
and OS wouldn't be caught dead BUYing anything new?

Although not currently a customer, I appreciate your philosophy. 
I'll certainly refer business your way if I ever have the chance.

On the other hand, IBM often seems to be on another planet 
when it comes to supporting their installed customer base...
