We asked the e-mail administrator at our location to create a group e-mail 
listing. Than we just sent the e-mail from the AS/400 to the group.

And this problem is why I wrote a command exit point program to change 
from SNDDST to Dave Leland's SNDEMAIL.  I have multiple user profiles, 
each with a directory entry.  However you cannot have the same email 
address in more than one directory entry.  So if anyone tries to use 
SNDDST it converts it automatically to SNDEMAIL.

Hopefully the package she is using does not rely on WRKDIRE either.

To expand upon what Rob said.

Make sure the user profile used to send the emails has a valid SMTP 
address
assigned.

either use WRKDIRE or WRKNAMSMTP.

This will allow bounce back to the from address.
