While it is true you did not need license keys at that OS level, you also did not get everything on the upgrade tapes, you only got what you had purchased. If the upgrade tapes are for that system then I would think you would be OK (I can not remember if it was all on one tape or if the extra stuff came on there own tape(S)).

And just so you know the OS at that level could not be transfered legally.

Significant situational facts:
The system currently has RPG, COBOL, Query, PDM, etc. installed.  I don't
have the original installation media or any product license keys (it has
been speculated that they weren't around at these OS levels) and I don't
want to loose them.
