There was no additional monthly charge from the alarm company ... and
I like to occasionally get out of town (and have known to not keep my
cell on/available/in range).  The alarm company option added an
element of "human intelligence" for us.  Our "call list" is sequenced
by distance from the office (I'm closest).

Like I said before, I LIKE your solution (it IS cool!!!).  I just
wanted to offer an alternative view at a lower price.
