My problem was people answering messages regarding backup programs that
blew up in the night.  They'd answer it at 7am and it would start blowing
people out of all the applications.  I needed to find out who answered
it.  A little time in the stocks in the town square and situation hasn't
happened since.

Hi Rob,

Yeah that's the problem I believe that some of our "support" team are
looking at the messages but then turning a blind eye if it looks too
difficult to fix, therein leaving the job on MSGW until I see it or someone
shouts about their job not finishing.

Steve

I don't know about looking.  But if they answered a message in QSYSOPR for
a job in QBATCH that was in MSGW I use DSPLOG and it tells me who answered
it and when.

Hello again all,

I don't know if this is possible but is there anyway to find out if someone
have been looking at jobs? i.e. Say if someone took option 7 to display
message on a job in MSGW? And where can I get info on all logging info that
is available for me to look at?

tia

Steve
