The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

You may only need to re-install SLIC (one CD). Be sure to take the
option to re-install SLIC and RETAIN USER DATA. Once that is installed
you can get into DST from where you can reset QSECOFR.
I haven't had to do this in a while but I'm fairly certain it will get
you going without a scratch re-build.

We recently purchased a little backup 170. The problem is that we are not
able to sign on under qsecofr or into dst. The previous owners of this
machine apparently do not know the passwords either. After trying to sign
on using various default passwords, the console disconnects and the
machine gives us an error code of A9003C60. Is there anyway to reset the
qsecofr or dst passwords without having to do a fresh install? The
machine is running on v4r5.
TIA,
