Re: Outq - Simple question but stumped & lack time

Hi Mike -

Rob, Well I ran a query that would go to a Printer, PrinterA. But since I started Printera w/ PrinterA2's outq, I was expecting the query printout to go to PrinterA2, which did not happen. But are you saying that this will work for the regular application outputs? 

1. What are you doing will NOT change what output queue spooled reports go 
to.

2. What you need to do is tell the PrinterA2 device that it should print what is in the PrinterA output queue (as opposed to trying to make the reports appear in the PrinterA2 output queue).

3. What you did is tell PrinterA device (off for repair) that it should print what is in the PrinterA2 output queue.
