I'm confused about why you'll need multiple Trigger programs in the first place. Unless you intend to do your column filtering in the Trigger program itself. In which case I'd advise you not to make the Trigger pgm any more complicated than absolutely necessary. Don't forget that the Trigger runs as part of the business app. Get your Unique Id, write the data to a Flat File, pass the Id to a Data Queue and be done with it. Let a separate process that monitors the Data Queue do whatever more sophisticated processing you might need. I think that limits the potential for the Trigger pgm to abend and somehow mess up your business app or to slow down the app if you've got to do additional I/Os. Just my Opinion.
