It is so.  mget is multiple get.  Which name is the destination name?  And
for which source name?  And should all the file append to the destination
or...?  Think about:

mget file1 file2 file3

which of those above is the destination?  If you say file3, then which of
file1 or file2 should be renamed file3 upon transfer?  Or do you simply
want to append file1 to file2?  As you can see it is very ambiguous, so
mget doesn't allow you to specify a destination name.
