Have you verified that your DNS servers are configured correctly on the
iSeries? Option 12 on the cfgtcp menu has the abiliy to put 3 DNS servers
which are checked from top to bottom to "find" a tcp/ip address. i have
the following dns servers configured and I can successfully ping
cwemail.com from my iSeries.
'198.137.231.1'
'192.135.161.1'
'192.135.191.1'
