My cable bill is $62.60/month. That's for cable TV, internet, etc. And my wife uses the internet more than I do. My point is this, do you spend more on your TV viewing than on furthering your career? Here's a radical idea. Since most people plan on paying the cable or satellite pig for all time, why not lease an i5 for home use? Perhaps you can get it for about the same amount as your cable bill. And the beauty of leasing is that when the new hardware comes out it's a simple matter of adjusting your lease versus the pain of a buy decision. And the way computers are going, you might even find you're adjusting your lease downwards for a better, faster machine. We've had that happen at work. Hey, your lease payments might even be cheaper that what you pay your credit card company for that ebay'ed iseries. Providing you make only your montly minimum to your credit card company, or some such thing. LOL. Yes, besides being able to do personal development at home I would also like to learn more "system" stuff like installs, IPLing, etc. There are some smaller shops in the area that use one-man "contractors" and if things get rough where I'm currently working it would be nice to have a broader background. And last but not least - I love this box and just GOT to have one! As with anything, it tends to boil down to dollars and cents ;-) Terry > -----Original Message----- > From: Mark S.
