Buck, Thanks for the clarification. I think I am mostly interested in the WAS. Alas, IBM's choice to call all of their software 'WebSphere' means that you will have to be a bit more specific. Do you mean 'WebSphere Application Server', 'WebSphere Development Studio', 'WebSphere Commerce Suite' or something altogether different? Generally speaking, any new software will require additional tasks which are similar to the tasks you perform now for your existing software, such as backups, security, upgrading/patching and so on. The particulars depend entirely on what you mean by 'WebSphere.' --buck _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!?
