Mike, There are quite a few options out there for this, including a number of third party products. ASC has eSend, ACOM has EZeDocs, etc. One option from IBM with V5 (R2 is better) is to use InfoPrint Server. It's a slick way to create PDF files from spool files and files can be placed in the IFS or sent using SMTP through email. You can combine AFP overlays with InfoPrint to create forms output to PDF very easily. The product is a chargeable feature, but priced nominally. You can actually try it for 50 days or so by loading it onto your iSeries from the OS/400 CDs. Look for 5722-IP1. There are also some redbooks and manuals that could help you get up and going. Search for G544-5775 and SG24-6250. Charles Abbott The Persimmon Group, Inc. 4425 W.
