I don't have this option either. And I don't see what Chuck's talking about. Chuck -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kelly Cookson Sent: Monday, May 10, 2004 9:20 AM To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Send email in iSeries Navigator I'm exploring options for sending spooled files as email attachments via iSeries Navigator (V5R2M0). I know I can drag spooled files from the Printer Output in Basic Operations to my desktop and email it from there. However, when I right-click on a spooled file in the Printer Output in Basic Operations, I get a "Send Email..." option. Clicking on the "Send Email..." option brings up a dialog window to let me enter an address, subject line, message line, and a drop down box to choose the format (text, PDF, HTML) in which to send the spooled file. I seem to be the only person in my shop who has this option! Another developer running iSeries Navigator V5R2M0 has an option to convert to PDF, which will let him send it as an email attachment, but he doesn't get the same dialog window as I do and he doesn't get a choice of file formats. Does anyone happen to know what feature/version/plug-in is needed to get the "Send Email..." option? Thanks, Kelly _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
