You're right, I didn't - they all seemed to be global issues (netstat, etc)
which would indicate it would happen to any user, not just some - or they
were issues that we don't have - exit programs and the like.

the problem ended up being an initial program on the userprofile on the
home system that didn't exist on the remote.
